"Paint
a portrait of life to be proud of that
could not be
sold for all the money on earth. Hang
that portrait in
your mind and understand its ever
presence. Reflect on
every brush stroke that makes all the
mountains and
valleys and rivers and skies the most
beautiful in the land.
Share your portrait with others but
beware their brushes.
Select only those whose brush will add to
the beauty
and structure of your masterpiece."

Imagine
this......
- There is a bank that
credits your account each morning
with $86,400. It carries over no
balance from day to day. Every
evening deletes whatever part of
the balance you failed to use.
What would you do? Draw out ALL
OF IT, of course!!!!
Each
of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME.
Every morning, it credits you with 86,400
seconds.
Every night it writes off, as lost,
whatever of this you
have failed to invest to good
purpose. It carries over
no balance. It allows no overdraft.
Each
day it opens a new account for you. Each
night it burns the remains of the day. If
you fail to use the day's deposits, the
loss is yours.
There
is no going back. There is no drawing
against the "tomorrow." You
must live in the present on today's
deposits. Invest it so as to get from it
the utmost in health, happiness, and
success! The clock is running. Make the
most of today.
To
realize the value of ONE YEAR,
ask a student who failed a grade.
To
realize the value of ONE MONTH,
ask a mother who gave birth to a
premature baby.
To
realize the value of ONE WEEK,
ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To
realize the value of ONE HOUR,
ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To
realize the value of ONE MINUTE,
ask a person who missed the train.
To
realize the value of ONE-SECOND,
ask a person who just avoided an
accident.
To
realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND,
ask the person who won a silver medal in
the Olympics.
Treasure
every moment that you have! And treasure
it
more because you shared it with someone
special,
special enough to spend your time.
And
remember that time waits for no one.
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a
mystery.
Today is a gift. That's why it's called
the present!!!
Friends
are a very rare jewel, indeed.
They make you smile and encourage you to
succeed.
They lend an ear, they share a word of
praise,
and they always want to open their heart
to us.

"Treat
your friends as you do your pictures,
and place them in their best light."

Awareness
doesn't reside in the brain in resides
everywhere.
Emptiness is not really empty, it's full
of everything unmanifested, phenomena
arise and dissolve, the totality includes
it all.
Everything
is present at the same time.
Creativity
springs from the yearning to be the
fullness of who you are.
God
is the place where lover and Beloved are
one.
Bhakti
is the delicious intensity of love that
takes you through the doorway, into the
knowledge of the Real.
We serve God in order to become free,
and become free in order to serve.
The
path of the heart takes you out of the
mind, and into the Presence.
Everything
in your life is a vehicle for your
transformation - use it!
The
gift you offer another person is just
your BEING.
Once
we're free, our acts can free other
people.
Let's
trade all our judging for appreciating.
What you meet in another being is the
projection of your own level of
evolution.
We
are here to remind each other what it's
all about.
A
moment comes when there is no other.
Be
deeply invovled in life, yet less
attached to it.
Our
whole spiritual transformation brings us
to the point where we realize that in our
own being, we are enough.
A
realized being is the loving, creative
wisdom that is God.

"Love
is the greatest refreshment in
life."
-
Pablo Picasso -
"Love
means to love that which is unloveable.
Otherwise it is no virtue at all."
-
G.K. Chesterton -
"There
are those who look at things the way they
are,
and ask why... I dream of things that

"The
real art of conversation is not only to
say
the right thing at the right place but to

"If
you view all the things that happen to
you,
both good and bad, as opportunities, then

"Think
excitement, talk excitement, act out
excitement,
and you are bound to become an excited
person.
Life will take on a new zest, deeper
interest and
greater meaning. You can think, talk and
act yourself
into dullness or into monotony or into
unhappiness.
By the same process you can build up
inspiration,
excitement and surging depth of
joy."

Norman Vincent Peale -
"Joy
increases as you give it,
and diminishes as you try to keep
it for yourself.
In giving it, you will accumulate
a deposit of joy
greater than you ever believed
possible."

"I am convinced
that attitude is the key to
success
or failure in almost any of
life's endeavors.
Your attitude - your perspective,
your outlook,
how you feel about yourself, how
you feel about
other people - determines your
priorities, your actions,
your values. Your attitude
determines how you interact
with other people and how you
interact with yourself."

"You
are in charge of your feelings, beliefs,
and actions. And you teach others how to
behave toward you. While you cannot
change other people, you can influence
them through your own behaviors and
actions. By being a living role model of
what you want to receive from others, you
create more of what you want in your
life."
