N U T R I T I O N -- E P I G E N E T I C S
and optimising health via Nutritional Assessments & Personalised Plans

Epigenetics shows that our genes are not fixed!
We are not victims of our heredity.
Here's how nutrition & other factors play a role.

Chromosomes store your inherited genes in your cells.
But only a tiny percentage if disease is due to hereditary issues alone.

Environmental signals select, modify, and regulate your gene activity.
These signals come from what you eat and drink, breathe, touch, do, and how you live.
They also come from: how you feel, what you think & believe,
and what you perceive (whether real or imagined).

The activity of your genes is constantly being changed in response to
your unique environment & choices of food, drink - and all the other factors above.
We can literally switch bad genes off and good genes on.

Nutritional therapy helps improve your cellular activity through nutrition.
How and when you eat is also important.

So is what chemicals you come into contact with via toiletries, cleaning products, etc.
(The skin is our biggest organ, we absorb things through it,
as well as breathing things in, and ingesting things orally.

A lot of food (and even poor supplements) can also contain undesirable things,
so we need to look out for things to avoid, as well as good things we need.)
I will be posting more about what to look out for soon, so come back to check for links.

Even if you do have genes that predispose you to certain health problems,
it is possible to keep them dormant, or to counteract their activity by improving your
nutrition, habits, and how you live - thus changing your cell behaviour.

A nutritional therapist can:

1) Work with healthy people to prevent disease & optimise good health
2) Work with people who have developed disease in order to alleviate symptoms.

Every person is unique - therefore has an individual set of dietary requirements,
also tailored according to their current state of health.
A personalised programme is formulated to ensure that the diet:
1) Addresses any nutritional deficiencies
2) Contains all the essential components.
Health improvements are then monitored to optimise benefits.

Nutrition genetics is the science that explains how different compounds in food
travel to the deepest cellular level, alter your DNA, and trigger a response from the cell.
A good response, for example, could be to activate longevity
(phytonutrients in red grapes),
and a bad response might be to trigger the release of irritating chemicals
that cause swelling and autoimmune conditions (refined sugar).

Soluble fibre aids the body to elliminate toxins, excess hormones, and cholesterol -
plus helps beneficial bacteria in the gut to grow,
strengthening your immune system, and reducing the risk of infection.

Lots of greens and antioxidant foods neutralise free radicals
and keep your liver strong, so it can effectively remove toxins.

Genes cannot turn themselves on or off, but environmental factors do.
Your blueprint (DNA) remains the same,
but factors such as nutrition (including what, when, and how you eat & drink)
change the way certain parts of your blueprint (DNA)
are read and implemented (or not).
So nutrition, good or bad, switches genes on & off.

Apart from doing your assessments and building your personalised plan,
my programme contains lots of other tips and information to support your progress,
and you can access advice anytime.
I also have a version of my programme optimised for use via email
so that distance is irrelevant, and time & costs of travel are saved.

Package of optimised sessions by email over abt 7 months
(abt 15 sessions) for only 360 (due to cost & time savings
of not having to travel), and available anywhere in the world!

Other prices & details are on the Booking form
(from 36 to 45 per session depending on number of sessions)

Of course, I can also help with those other factors (mentioned at the outset)
in your environment that select, modify, and regulate your gene activity.

How you feel, what you think & believe, and what you perceive (real or imagined)
can be hugely balanced by engaging with my other therapies such as
Stress Busting, Counselling, Life Coaching, Healing,
or a holistic combination package that would be tailored to suit your needs.

Please just book one or other then mention that you want a suitable combination.

Or just ask for your initial Nutritional Assessment and we shall plan together from there.

Please note that I can offer similar length / cost packages via email for most of my services, and
anyone doing any of these extended programmes
is entitled to 1/3 off another programme.
